Totech dry cabinets are widely used in various fields and below advices will help to use the products better and increase service life.

  1. Installation of  Totech dry cabinet

     1) Place dry cabinet on even floor, as roughness of floor may cause unevenness of the doors, and please use the metal plated delivered inside dry cabinet to adjust the condition.

 2) At least 5 cm should be left from back side of dry cabinet to make sure normal operation.

3) Install the shelves properly.

4) Make sure the power supply from socket is the same with the power requirement of the dry cabinet, which can be found on the sticker on back side of dry cabinet.

5) Please let the cabinet run 1-2 days unloaded, and put items into it for storage after the set humidity value is reached. -

 2. Cautions

1) Don’t install dry cabinets in places facing the shutter of air conditioner, near heat or high temperature, with smoke, dust or vapor, unsteady places or direct to the sun.

2) The back side of dry cabinet should keep away from other items to make sure moisture is discharged well.

3) Don’t put any container with water onto the cabinet to avoid damage to dry unit caused by water-drop, such as vases, thermos, fish tanks, etc.

4) If damp items are out inside the dry cabinet, such as paper or wooden products, the inner humidity will rise for some time, and then drop slowly and it may cost 1-2 days to reach the set value, and this is normal.

5) Dry cabinet itself can’t dehumidify, and if higher humidity is required, it is OK to open the doors and let humidity rise, then close the door.

6) The glass may get broken if it is compressed by sharp tool. And it is advised to clean the glass by clean wet cloth and dry it with fine paper.

7) Make sure both side and outside flappers of dry unit are not blocked by cloth, tape or other items to avoid damages. And if foods and chemicals will store into cabinet, they should be packed well.

8) If there is any dirt, please don’t wipe the cabinet body or magnetic rubber with wet cloth, and the correct way is to wipe by dry cloth with cleaning naphtha.
